Karl von Kuder

Ludwig Karl Kuder (from 1820: von Kuder ) (born January 1, 1787 in Buchsweiler ; † May 17, 1851 in Darmstadt ) was a Hessian civil servant and politician and a former member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

family

Karl von Kuder was the son of the secret archivist Christian Carl von Kuder (1757-1820). The father had been ennobled in 1820 . Karl von Kuder therefore carried the title of nobility in his name from 1820. The mother was Caroline Agathe nee Jäglin.

Karl von Kuder married his first wife Friederike Henriette nee Hahn (1791–1829) on October 2, 1813 in Auerbach and on September 4, 1830 in Darmstadt her second marriage was Henriette Louise Auguste Friederike nee Schleiermacher.

education and profession

Karl von Kuder became a government assessor in 1810, a government councilor in 1814 and a secret councilor in 1825 in Darmstadt. In 1829 he became Ministerialrat in the Grand Ducal Hesse Ministry of the Interior and Justice and a member of the Oberpostdirektion. In 1841 he was appointed a privy councilor and in 1847 special director of the Colonia fire insurance company. In 1848 he was retired.

From 1823 to 1824 Kuder was elected to the second chamber of the estates for the constituency Starkenburg 4 / Seligenstadt-Babenhausen and then from 1826 to 1827 for the constituency Starkenburg 11 / Umstadt.
