Franz Friedrich Koeniger
Franz Friedrich August Christian Hermann Ludwig Wilhelm Koeniger (born September 30, 1814 in Homberg (Ohm) ; † October 12, 1885 in Darmstadt ) was a Hessian judge and politician ( NLP ) and member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .
Franz Friedrich Königer was the son of the Grand Ducal Hessian Major General Friedrich Philipp Engel Königer (1778–1845) and his wife Karoline Katharina Susanne, née Boetticher (1783–1829). Koeniger, who was a Protestant, married Sophie Johannette Magdalene, born Koeniger (1820–1902) in Zwingenberg on May 27, 1845 , the daughter of the rent clerk Karl Koeniger. His brother Julius Königer (1820–1866) became a soldier and fell as a captain in 1866 near Laufach-Fronhofen in the Spessart.
From 1832, Königer studied law at the Universities of Gießen and Heidelberg, and in 1836 became a secretary at the Darmstadt court and in 1837 at the Zwingenberg regional court . In 1844 he was secretary to the visitation commissioner of the Darmstadt City and Regional Court before he was appointed Assessor with a vote at the Zwingenberg Regional Court in 1845. In 1851 he was transferred to the Reinheim Regional Court in the same position and returned to Zwingenberg in 1854. In 1857 he was promoted to the district judge at the Seligenstadt district court . In 1871 he moved to the district court of Langen as a district judge and in 1874 as a city judge to the Darmstadt city court. With the formation of the Darmstadt Higher Regional Court in 1879, he became a councilor there. In 1880 he became President of the Senate at the Darmstadt Higher Regional Court and a member of the Darmstadt Administrative Court .
From 1872 to 1879 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency Starkenburg 7 / Groß-Umstadt . From 1878 to 1879 he was second president of the chamber.
