Friedrich Kritzler

Friedrich Jakob Kritzler (born March 21, 1802 in Kirch-Brombach , † April 28, 1877 in Darmstadt ) was a German administrative lawyer and a member of the Grand Duchy of Hesse.

Life

Kritzler was the son of the pastor, consistorial and church councilor Philipp Heinrich Gottlieb Kritzler (1766–1832) and his wife Karolina geb. Favor (1765-1837). Friedrich Kritzler married Susanne (Maria Elise) Wiener (1808–1890) on December 15, 1831 in Darmstadt.

Kritzler studied law at the Hessian Ludwig University and the Ruprecht Karls University in Heidelberg . He joined the Giessener Corps Franconia and Hassia and the Heidelberg Corps Hassia. He was promoted to Dr. iur. received his doctorate and entered the service of the Grand Duchy of Hesse as a government advisor in Dieburg . In 1826 he was transferred to Darmstadt in the same position. In 1830 he became district administrator in the Dieburg district and in 1832 district administrator in the Dieburg district . In 1848, after the March Revolution, the districts were abolished and districts were formed. From 1848 to 1852, Kritzler was the conductor of the government commission of the Dieburg administrative district . In 1852 he was Councilor in Dieburg and 1853 county council in county Darmstadt . From 1853 to 1858 he was a member of the Oberpostdirektion . In 1870 he was appointed president of the senior consistory.

From 1856 to 1862 he was a member of the second chamber of the state estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse for the constituency Starkenburg 5 / Dieburg . From 1849 to 1856 he was an elected member of the first chamber. In the estates he took conservative positions. He was a member of the Nassau State Council .
