Ernst Ohl

Georg Ernst Ohl (born February 27, 1841 in Umstadt ; † November 27, 1923 ibid) was a Hessian farmer and politician ( Free Economic Association ) and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Ernst Ohl was the son of master baker Johann Georg Ohl and his wife Catharina Elisabeth, née Weber. Ohl, who was a Protestant, was a farmer in Groß-Umstadt and married Katharina Elisabeth née Eidmann (1843–1911) in 1864 .

From 1896 to 1902 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency Starkenburg 7 / Groß-Umstadt . From 1882 he was alderman of Groß-Umstadt and from 1908 to 1919 mayor there.
