Friedrich Schrempf

Friedrich Christian Schrempf (born February 24, 1858 in Besigheim ; † January 8, 1912 or 1913 in Stuttgart ) was an editor and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Schrempf grew up with his mother's brother. He attended schools in Kleiningersheim , Boll ( Oberamt Sulz ) and Horrheim ( Oberamt Vaihingen ). After the aspirant exam in March 1871 he was a student at the private seminar Tempelhof in the Oberamt Crailsheim from 1872 to 1875 and was then a seminar teacher there until 1879. After that he was a teacher at the boys' institute of Professor Dr. Pfleiderer and at the parish Latin school in Korntal until 1890. Subsequently he was editor of the conservative daily newspaper Deutsche Reichspost in Stuttgart, from spring 1892 to 1909 its editor. From 1890 he was also secretary of the conservative party in Württemberg.

From 1898 to 1903 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Württemberg 7 ( Nagold , Calw , Neuenbürg , Herrenberg ). He was nominated as a compromise candidate by the National Liberals , the Conservatives and the Federation of Farmers . In the Reichstag he belonged to the faction of the German Conservative Party .
