Friedrich Voss

Friedrich Voss (born February 1, 1931 in Düsseldorf ; † July 27, 2012 there ) was a German politician ( CDU , later CSU ).

From 1982 to 1991 he was Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Minister of Finance .

education and profession

After graduating from high school , Voss studied law and political science . In 1961 he received his doctorate as Dr. jur. at the University of Cologne with the thesis "The state building load at parish churches due to the secularization in the former Duchy of Berg - taking into account the provisions on general church building load applicable in this area" . He then entered the higher service of the financial administration of North Rhine-Westphalia . Most recently he worked there as a judge at the Finance Court in Düsseldorf .

In July 1968 he joined the press office of the Federal Ministry of Finance , became political advisor to Federal Finance Minister Franz Josef Strauss in July 1969 and, after the change of government in autumn 1969, was his personal advisor and head of his parliamentary office from 1969 to 1976.

Political party

After initially being a member of the CDU in North Rhine-Westphalia, Voss later became a member of the CSU. As their state treasurer, he was also a member of the presidium and board of the CSU for many years.

From 1976 to 1990 Voss was a member of the German Bundestag .

He was always drawn into the Bundestag via the Bavarian State List .

Public offices

On October 4, 1982 Voss was as Parliamentary Secretary to the Federal Minister of Finance in the by Chancellor Helmut Kohl led government appointed. After the Bundestag election in 1990 , he left office on January 18, 1991.
