Friedrich Wilhelm Kast (politician)

Friedrich Wilhelm Kast (born January 21, 1809 in Stockstadt am Rhein , † June 8, 1873 in Darmstadt ) was a Hessian timber merchant and politician and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Life

Friedrich Wilhelm Kast was the son of the timber merchant Ernst Wilhelm Kast (1777-1818) and his wife Elisabetha Katharina, née Schneider (1780-1821). Kast, who was Protestant, was a timber merchant in Darmstadt and married Anna Maria nee Pfülb (1814–1906).

From 1862 to 1866 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency Starkenburg 13 / Gernsheim . In the estates he represented liberal-conservative positions.
