Friedrich Wilhelm Korff

Friedrich-Wilhelm Korff (born December 29, 1939 in Hohenlimburg ) is a German philosopher and writer .

Life

Friedrich Wilhelm Korff comes from a family of doctors. After studying German literature and philosophy at the Universities of Basel and Heidelberg he was in Basel to the doctor of philosophy in 1967 his doctorate . 1974 followed the habilitation at the Technical University of Hanover . From 1978 he taught philosophy at the University of Hanover as an associate professor and from 1980 as a full professor ; his specialties are the philosophy of antiquity and the 19th century . In addition to his scientific work, Korff has also emerged as a writer of narrative works and essays . In 1982 he took part in the Ingeborg Bachmann Competition in Klagenfurt .

Korff lives in Wennigsen today .

In a work from 2008, Korff claims to have unraveled the construction principle of the ancient Egyptian pyramids and thus made a fundamental contribution to pyramid research. While some Egyptologists take the work seriously, most of them flatly reject Korff's theses.
