Friedrich von Jagow

Friedrich Wilhelm Heinrich Leopold von Jagow (born May 16, 1802 in Stresow , † February 19, 1858 in Pollitz ) was a German landowner , district administrator and dike captain .

Life

His parents were Wilhelm von Jagow (1770-1838) and his wife Louise Juliane Amalie von Schladen (1785-1853), a daughter of Karl Friedrich Gottlieb von Schladen .

His brother Wilhelm Eduard Karl Ludwig August von Jagow (1803-1883) was the father of Eugen von Jagow .

Brother Eduard Ernst Alexander Leopold von Jagow (1804–1874, gentleman in Calberwisch ) was the father of Bernhard von Jagow .

Friedrich von Jagow was among other things the lord of Pollitz , Oevelgünne and Groß Garz .

Von Jagow was dike captain ; a title that passed to his son Otto Karl (1842–1908); and was, like his father from 1820 to 1838, from 1848 to 1858 royal Prussian district administrator of the Osterburg district . His successor was Friedrich Gottlob Jakob Graf von der Schulenburg-Altenhausen . He was also Knight of Honor of the Order of St. John .

He was married to Luise Johanna Ernestine Elisabeth von Ribbeck (1808–1872).
