Fritz Dirscherl (born December 2, 1932 ) is a German wrestler .

Career

Fritz Dirscherl, who comes from Mainburg , started wrestling with two brothers at the age of 13 at ATSV Kelheim near Regensburg . In 1949 and 1950 he was German youth champion in the +70 kg weight class. Among the active players, he quickly caught up with the top German class, which he had already reached at the age of 20. In addition to sports, he successfully completed a degree in civil engineering . Fritz Dirscherl suffered from the fact that he was not sent to the Olympic Games or World Championships several times, although he was athletically qualified, because these took place in countries far away ( Australia , Japan ) and the German Wrestling Federation (DAB) only send very few wrestlers to these championships could.
