Fritz Lengemann
Fritz Lengemann (born February 1, 1892 in Kassel ; † May 30, 1934 there ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).
Live and act
Fritz Lengemann was born in 1892 as the son of the municipal caretaker Karl Lengemann and Elisabeth Walther. After attending the public school (1898 to 1902) and the Realgymnasium (1902 to 1910) in Kassel, Lengemann embarked on a civil service career: From Easter 1910 to June 1914 he was trained for the middle service, and on July 1, 1914, he was given a position at Horticultural and cemetery trade association (Reichsunfallversicherung) in Kassel.
From October 21, 1914 to April 1916, Lengemann took part in the First World War with the 167 Infantry Regiment and the 83rd Landwehr Infantry Regiment . In April 1916 he was discharged from the army due to war damage. After temporarily returning to his homeland, he was a member of the 1st replacement company of the 83rd Infantry Regiment from May 3, 1918 to May 31, 1919.
Back in his home country, Lengemann married Grete Kesselschläger on October 16, 1920. From 1920 to 1932 he chaired the Kassel local group of the Association of Civil Servants and Employees of the Reich Accident Insurance. He was also the deputy chairman of the main committee of this association.
In March 1924 Lengemann became district leader in the Völkisch-Soziale Block and in the National Socialist Freedom Party . On February 27, 1925 Lengemann participated in the founding of the NSDAP local group in Kassel, which he led until September 1, 1927. On this day he took over the post of Gau Treasurer and Deputy Gauleiter in the Gau Hessen-Nassau Nord. On October 1, 1931, Lengemann was finally appointed deputy Gauleiter and Gau organization head of the NSDAP in Kassel.
From 1932 until his death in May 1934 Lengemann sat as a member of the NSDAP in the Reichstag. On March 12, 1933, he also became a member of the city council of Kassel, which he soon chaired on March 30, 1933. On April 8, 1933 Lengemann was appointed provisional and on June 9 permanent district administrator of the Kassel district.
