Udo Schlitzberger

Udo Schlitzberger (born October 31, 1946 in Kassel ) is a German politician ( SPD ). From 1976 to 1991 he was a member of the Hessian state parliament; from 1991 to 2009 district administrator of the Kassel district .

Personal / professional

After attending elementary school in Fürstenwald from 1953 to 1957 and graduating from the Albert Schweitzer School in Kassel in 1966 , Schlitzberger began studying politics and history, philosophy and German at the Philipps University of Marburg , which he did in 1971 graduated with the first state examination. He passed the second state examination in 1973 at the study seminar II in Kassel. He also earned his Dr. phil. with a thesis on Critical Rationalism by KR Poppers . He entered the higher education service, worked from 1973 to 1976 as a teacher at the integrated comprehensive school in Niestetal and at the upper secondary school in Kassel-Oberzwehren - today Lichtenberg-Gymnasium. From 1976 to 1991 he was a member of the Hessian state parliament. From July 1991 to June 2009 he was the district administrator of the Kassel district. Schlitzberger had been with Marianne Schlitzberger, b. Mader, married who died in 2011. He has a son. Since 2015 he has been with Ria Wegner, geb. Loving, married.

Party work

Schlitzberger joined the SPD in 1968. From 1969 to 1972 he was chairman of the Young Socialists in the Waldeck-Wolfhagen-Hofgeismar sub-district. In 1973 he became chairman of the Young Socialists in the Kassel-Land subdistrict. Between 1975 and 1977 he held the offices of the chairman of the Young Socialists in the Hesse-North district and the executive chairman of the state of Hesse. From 1977 to 2003 he was a member of the state board of the Hessian Social Democrats. From 1984 to 1989 Schlitzberger was deputy chairman of the SPD sub-district Kassel-Land, from 1989 to 1993 chairman. From 1993 to 2001 he was district chairman of the SPD Hessen-Nord.

Parliamentary work

Schlitzberger was from 1972 to 1991 community representative of Calden , from 1977 chairman of the SPD parliamentary group; from 1972 to 1974 member of the district council in the Kassel district. From September 1976 to April 1991 he was a member of the state parliament for constituency 1 in the Hessian state parliament . Schlitzberger was directly elected in the state elections in 1978, 1982, 1983 and 1987.

Club work

From 1974 to 2007 Schlitzberger was chairman of TSV Fürstenwald 1893 eV From 1982 to 1991 he was co-founder and chairman of the culture and history association Calden eV From 1986 to 2003 he was co-founder and chairman of the education and training association in the district of Kassel eV 2014 co-founder and since then has been the deputy chairman of the Fürstenwald history association. Honors

In 1990 Udo Schlitzberger was honored with the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon.
