The Frohnbach is a left and northern tributary of the Lohbach . It is almost one and a half kilometers long and flows in the Hessian Westerwald .

The Frohnbach rises at an altitude of 223  m above sea level. NHN im Gewann Auf der Heide . It initially flows east-south-east, strongly straightened, and then bends in a south-east direction after about half a kilometer. It then turns in an arc to the southwest and finally flows southwards, west of the Gertsberg and not far from the state border with Rhineland-Palatinate at an altitude of about 182  m above sea level. NHN near the Pletschmühle in the Lohbach .

The Frohnbach is a creek that has been greatly to very much changed by people. While its upper course is almost completely straightened, it flows slightly curved on its further way.

The Frohnbach flows alternately through grassland , fields and gardens , and there is also a small area with deciduous forest . His bank vegetation consists mainly of herbs and Hochstaudenfluren .

On its upper course, its sole substrate is made up of clay and loam , on the middle course larger stones and gravel predominate and in the mouth area it is clouded by silt and mud .
