Fronrot is a suburb of the municipality of Bühlertann with almost 200 inhabitants (as of January 2007) and belongs to the district of Schwäbisch Hall in Baden-Württemberg , Germany .

Geographical location

Fronrot is one of the 15 suburbs of the municipality of Bühlertann and is located in the eastern part of the Schwäbisch Hall district near the border with the Ostalb district . Five kilometers to the southeast of Fronrot is the intersection of the 49th northern latitude and 10 eastern longitude .

Infrastructure

The disposal problem was solved as early as 1983 with the local sewer system, which leads the wastewater to an oxidation pond . Today Fronrot gets its water from the Nord-Ost-Wasserversorgung (NOW). In recent years, this has ensured the drinking water quality with the construction of treatment plants, several elevated tanks and connecting pipes. The water hardness on site is only 14 ° dH.

Culture and sights

With just under 200 inhabitants, Fronrot has had an independent cultural life for a long time, as the music and choral society as well as the parish of St. Maria Fronrot bear witness to.

Economy and Infrastructure

traffic

Fronrot is on the German Alps-Baltic Sea holiday route ( Landesstrasse 1060) between Schwäbisch Hall and Ellwangen . There are motorway connections at Schwäbisch Hall (towards Heilbronn ) and Crailsheim (towards Nuremberg ) to the A 6 and at Ellwangen (towards Würzburg and Ulm ) to the A 7 . This creates good conditions for a comfortable journey by car.

Public transport connections

Several bus lines secure the connection to the nearby train stations in Schwäbisch Hall , Schwäbisch Hall-Hessental, Gaildorf and Ellwangen . On the Schwäbisch Hall – Bühlertann – Fronrot – Ellwangen axis ( FMO line 13, formerly 7870), the number of direct connections has increased significantly since December 12, 2004. Buses leave here now Monday to Friday almost in two-hour clock . For Fronrot, this resulted in additional express connections to and from Schwäbisch Hall. With the new bus connections you can reach Schwäbisch Hall in less than half an hour and Ellwangen in a good 20 minutes.

As a result of the local transport concept in the Schwäbisch Hall district that came into force on January 1, 2000, there is now a transport association in the entire district with uniform fares for buses and trains.
