The 2019/20 season was the 30th season of the Association League Saxony-Anhalt and the twelfth as the sixth highest division in men's football in Germany. It began on August 2, 2019 with the game between SSC Weißenfels and FC Einheit Wernigerode (4: 0) and ended on March 8, 2020 with the 22nd matchday. From December 16, 2019 to February 7, 2020, the season was interrupted by a winter break.

Game operations during the coronavirus pandemic

On March 12, 2020, the FSA announced that games in the Association League Saxony-Anhalt would initially be suspended until March 22, 2020. On March 18, 2020, the association decided to suspend all gaming operations until April 19, 2020.

In a video conference on April 6, 2020, the Presidium decided not to continue all gaming operations in all game classes of the regional association beyond April 19, 2020 until further notice. A continuation of the amateur games should be announced at least 14 days in advance.

From a video conference between the board of directors and the presidium of the association on May 14, 2020, it emerged that the season will end on June 30, 2020 and that the game will no longer be continued. This applies subject to the vote by the extraordinary association day on June 12, 2020.

The SV Blau-Weiß Zorbau rose as the best-placed team eligible for promotion according to the quotient regulation based on the table status of March 12, 2020 in the Oberliga Nordost . However, there was no master or relegated to the national league.
