The village of Furth is located in Lower Bavaria in the Straubing-Bogen district and is one of the 77 districts of the city of Bogen .

history

Until December 31, 1977, Furth belonged to the then municipality of Oberalteich , which was dissolved in the course of the regional reform in Bavaria and incorporated into the town of Bogen. The population in Furth was at the census of 1987 on the level of 907 inhabitants. Furth developed steadily from a small settlement with farms to a place of residence with an industrial / commercial area.
