Muggenthal is a district of the town of Bogen in the Lower Bavarian district of Straubing-Bogen .

The wasteland is about six kilometers northeast of Bogen in the Degernbach district at 421  m above sea level. NHN high spur Furterwiesberg . The place gave its name to the Muggenthaler Graben flowing to the west , an upper course of the Waidbach .
