history
In the past, the place consisted of the Lenachhof on the site of today's Lenach and the Lenachmühle 300 meters upstream . Both together were run as the hamlet of Lenach . In 1835 the place belonged to the district court Mitterfels and to the branch of Reibersdorf of the parish Parkstetten in the district of the district court Straubing and consisted of two houses with 21 inhabitants. In the 1871 census, Lenach belongs to the rural community of Oberalteich of the Bogen district court . On January 1, 1978, the municipality of Oberalteich was incorporated into the city of Bogen and Lenach thus became a district of Bogen.
The Lenachmühle had in 1854 at number 170 and consisted of a brick house, mill building, stable, barn and oven and almost ten day's work surface. In the first recording, however, almost four times the area was shown as belonging to the mill.
