history

In the documents of the Oberalteich monastery between 1080 and 1115 a "Heinrich von Reibersdorf" was named among the witnesses.

In the Urbar of about 1310, the town is listed as "Reibrehstorf". The duke's surable list a "vaccaria" (probably a cattle yard) and ducal fishermen as well as a "judicium ville", which indicates a former royal court. According to Appendix III , Levtold Pincerna and the son of Albert von Stainach ( Steinach ) held the vacaria in Reibersdorf. Since the 15th century, Reibersdorf belonged to the district court of Mitterfels and in 1453 it was counted to Mitterfels. In 1516 it was mentioned as " Hofmark " in the tax register of the Haidau regional court belonging to the Straubing box .

When the community was formed, Reibersdorf was originally assigned to the Unterparkstetten community in 1818. But because it had its own clergyman, its own church and its own pastures, it received the status of an independent rural community in the Straubing Regional Court in 1821 . In Eisenmann / Hohn's Bavarian Lexicon from 1832, Reibersdorf is mentioned as a church village and a branch of the Parish Parkstetten in the Mitterfels district court. At that time it had 28 houses and 134 inhabitants. In the register of the diocese of Regensburg from 1838, Reibersdorf was assigned to the parish of Parkstetten and the Straubing district court. On January 1, 1973, the community of Reibersdorf, which belonged to the Straubing district , became part of the Parkstetten community as part of the regional reform in Bavaria . The community area was last a good 375 hectares .
