Florian Valot (born February 12, 1993 in Pau ) is a French football player on the position of midfielder . Since 2016 he is at New York Red Bulls II , the farm team of the New York Red Bulls , with gaming operations in the third-class North American United Soccer League under contract.

Career

Career start

Florian Valot was born on February 12, 1993 in Pau, in the south of France, and completed his youth career as a football player, among others at the capital city club Paris Saint-Germain , of which he was a member until 2010. Subsequently, he joined the AS Monaco from this year , where he was not only active in the youth team, but also from 2010 in the B-team with play in the French fourth division . He made his competitive debut on October 24, 2010 in a 4-0 away win over AS Saint-Étienne II , when he came on the lawn in the 88th minute of play for Terence Mekengo . In May of the following year he came to another brief assignment and was thus used in two league games in the course of the 2010/11 season, in which he remained goalless. In the 2011/12 season he came to another seven championship appearances for the B-team in the CFA, where he was used by coach Frédéric Barilaro alternately as a substitute or often over a longer period of time. In parallel to his training at the club's own academy and his football career, he did an internship of several months in the management and sales department of the sports goods manufacturer Nike between February and April 2012 . Valot finally made relatively more appearances for the B team in the 2012/13 season, when he was in a total of 18 league games, but was still unable to assert himself as a regular and scored one goal. This he succeeded on January 12, 2013 in a 4-0 home win over the football department of Stade Montois , when he came on the lawn in the 55th minute for the Moroccan Fawzi Ouaamar and ten minutes later scored the 4-0 final score. He completed another internship as a sales assistant at Zara between October and December 2013 .

Change to North America

Subsequently, the French enrolled at the private and non-denominational university Rider University in Lawrenceville , New Jersey . In addition to his studies there, he also played in the men's soccer team of the Rider Broncs sports department and made his competitive debut on August 31, 2014 in a 3-0 away defeat against the Colonials from Robert Morris University . In this game year he started from the start in all of his 18 missions and contributed seven goals and four assists. At the end of this junior year, the team captain was awarded MAAC -Rookie-of-the-Year and ECAC -Rookie-of-the-Year . He also received First Team All MAAC honors and was always voted MAAC Rookie of the Week in his first five championship games . In the summer of 2015, when he was not playing at the university, Florian Valot played for the Premier Development League team Seattle Sounders FC U23 . With the reserve team of the major league soccer franchise Seattle Sounders FC , he was also successful as a goal scorer. In his senior year 2015, Valot, who had chosen business administration as his main course, acted again as a regular and started in all of his 16 league appearances from the beginning. Here he scored six hits, and put another two on for his teammates. Before the start of the season, he was already elected to the preseason all MAAC team . At the end of the 2016 game year he was in the NSCAA All Region Second Team , in the First Team All MAAC , and a member of the MAAC All Academic Team .

Return to men's football

After completing his studies, he was signed by the New York Red Bulls U23 , the third men's team of the MLS franchise New York Red Bulls , and played three games in the fourth-rate Premier Development League for this in June 2016 . Here he remained goalless, but contributed a goal assist in a 1-0 win over Ocean City Nor'easters . After taking part in the New York Red Bulls II training camp as a test player in March 2016 , but not being committed, he was signed to the second professional team of the MLS franchise at the end of June 2016. Just one day after the announcement of his commitment, Valot made his professional debut in the United Soccer League on June 26, 2016 , when he came on the pitch in the 73rd minute for Derrick Etienne in the 4-0 win over the Wilmington Hammerheads and only two Minutes later prepared the submission for Aaron Long's 2-0 opening goal. To date (as of July 16, 2016) the French midfielder has played in three championship games for the New York Red Bulls II.
