Mandela Chinweizu Egbo (* 17th August 1997 in London ) is an English - Nigerian soccer player who at the MLS - Franchise New York Red Bulls play and former English youth international is.
Career
In the club
Egbo began his youth career at Hackney Wick Football Club, a London football club. He ended up in the junior division of Crystal Palace via Afewee Urban FC . He moved from the English Premier League club to Germany in the summer of 2015 and then played exclusively in Borussia Mönchengladbach's U23 until the end of 2017 .
For the first time on the 20th matchday of the 2017/18 season he played for the match at Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga squad of Borussia and made his debut for the first team on February 24, 2018 when he played in the away game at Hannover 96 in the 80th minute of the game Coach Dieter Hecking came on for Denis Zakaria . The native of London was the second English player in the Gladbach squad at the time, alongside defender Reece Oxford on loan from West Ham United . In the national team
Egbo played five times for the English U16 team from November 2012 to April 2013 . He was then active from August 2013 to May 2014 in the U-17 selection , for which he came to eleven missions. In September 2014 Egbo played twice for the U18 team .
