The Furthof is a district of the Markt Kinding in the district of Eichstätt ( Bavaria ).

location

The wasteland lies south of the Anlautertal on the Jura heights, north of Hirnstetten , southeast of Altdorf , southwest of Erlingshofen and northwest of Schafhausen . The district can be reached via a local road that branches off from State Road 2336 in the north of Hirnstetten . From the Furthof a connecting path leads through the forest down into the Anlautertal to the Furtmühle.

history

Ten burial mounds were found in the forest 450 meters southeast of the Furthof in the 1960s.

The Furthof is named after the Furtmühle in Anlautertal, which was exchanged in 1486 by the Augustinian canons Rebdorf for the Eichstätt monastery and was laid out in the 19th century by Furtmüller on the Jura plain south of the mill. Here the Furtmüller ran a small brick factory. Later the complex was divided between two brothers and the Furthof was expanded as a farm. A chapel built in 1896 belongs to the courtyard.

While the Furtmühle in the new Kingdom of Bavaria came to the municipality of Altdorf in 1806 and became part of the Markt Titting as part of the regional reform in Bavaria in 1971 , the Furthof became part of the Markt Kinding in the course of this regional reform with Erlingshofen.

In 2007, eight people had their main residence on the Furthof.
