Göttendorf is a district of Langenwetzendorf in the Greiz district in Thuringia .

Göttendorf is located about six kilometers southwest of Langenwetzendorf as the crow flies. The federal road 94 leads through the street village from Greiz in the direction of Zeulenroda with connection to the state road 1084 to the core community. Göttendorf's corridor is located on a hilly plateau in the Thuringian slate mountains . A large forest area begins to the west.
history
The village was first mentioned on October 31, 1357. In 2012, 200 people live in the district. A GLG-Garten- und Landschaftsbau GmbH has formed in the agricultural town.
