Günter Wilhelms

Günter Wilhelms (born August 30, 1958 in Borgentreich ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian and social ethicist .

Life

Günter Wilhelms studied Catholic theology , psychology and sociology in Paderborn, Würzburg and Eichstätt. He received his doctorate in pastoral theology and qualified as a professor in Christian social ethics . As part of his scientific work, he was a research assistant or senior assistant in Eichstätt and Bamberg, as well as an adjunct professor for Christian social teaching at the University of Bamberg. In the meantime he was director of the Cardinal von Galen House from September 1998 to September 2004 ; Catholic academy and home elementary school.

Since September 2004 he has held the chair for Christian social studies at the Theological Faculty in Paderborn , which he also chaired from October 2005 to 2007. His work focuses on business ethics and political ethics , culture, church and religion in modern society.

Günter Wilhelms is married and has two children.
