Gaby Gasser

Gabriella Maria Lucia Gasser (born March 24, 1944 in Basel ) is a Swiss actress with a long career on Berlin and Federal Republican boulevard stages, as well as on German television.

Live and act

Gabi Gasser was born the daughter of a Swiss and an Italian. Born in Basel, she made her first appearance at the age of five in the children's ballet at the Basel City Theater. She received her first leading role at the age of 15 in Bumbry (also in Basel). Gabi Gasser then attended drama school and received engagements in Stuttgart (five years in Württembergisches Staatstheater ), where she celebrated early successes in Can Can , Emilia Galotti and Stella , as well as in Berlin (comedy). She also went on several guest tours all over the Federal Republic (Stuttgart's Comedy in Marquardt , Munich's Little Comedy, Cologne's Theater am Dom , Frankfurt's Die Komödie) and did radio and dubbing. The Swiss woman also recorded a fairytale record ( Three Musketeers ) at a young age .

At the age of 20 she got her first (still tiny) television role in The Judge of London . From then on Gabi Gasser took part in roles kesser, young women in an abundance of (mostly lightweight) television productions with humorous undertones, less often in ambitious productions like Der Trinker based on a model by Hans Fallada . The boulevard play specialist Wolfgang Spier directed several times , with whom or under whose direction she had already played in the Berlin boulevard theater (at the Komödie am Kurfürstendamm ). From the 1970s Gabi Gasser also turned to television and received roles in A Man for All Cases , The Great Sebastians and One Hundred Thousand Thaler . She played in System Ribadier alongside Harald Juhnke and in The President alongside Heinz Schubert . In the series A tricky case and The Wicherts from next door she took over leading roles. In the last few years Gabi Gasser has been seen in crime fiction formats in particular, from 2009 to 2011 she had leading episode roles in SOKO Wismar , SOKO Leipzig and Tatort . In 2012 she played in the play Calendar Girls in Hamburg at the comedy Winterhuder Fährhaus .
