Gaetano Galbusera Fumagalli
Gaetano Galbusera Fumagalli SDB (born August 28, 1940 in Marasso-Missaglia , Province of Lecco , Italy ) is an Italian religious and retired Apostolic Vicar of Pucallpa .
Life
Gaetano Galbusera Fumagalli joined the religious order of the Salesians of Don Bosco and received on 22 December 1967, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On July 18, 2007, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . the titular bishop of Mascula and ordered him to Koadjutorvikar of Pucallpa . Cardinal Secretary of State Tarcisio Cardinal Bertone SDB donated him episcopal ordination on August 26th of the same year ; Co-consecrators were the Vicar Apostolic of Pucallpa, Juan Luis Martin Buisson PME , and the Prelate of Huari , Ivo Baldi Gaburri . On September 8, 2008, Gaetano Galbusera Fumagalli became Vicar Apostolic of Pucallpa, succeeding Juan Luis Martin Buisson PME, who resigned for reasons of age.
On July 31, 2019, Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation.
