history

The Apostolic Vicariate of Pucallpa was established on 2 March 1956, when that of the Franciscans in charge Apostolic Vicariate of San Francisco de Ucayali with the Apostolic Constitution Cum petierit in the Apostolic Vicariate of Pucallpa, San Ramón and Requena was divided.
