Galina Nikolajewna Jermolajewa ( Russian: Галина Николаевна Ермолаева , married: Васильева, Wassiljewa ; born February 4, 1937 in Novochopjorsk district , Voronezh Oblast ) is a former Soviet track cyclist of all times and six-time successful track cyclist .

Galina Yermolajewa's only discipline was the sprint on the track. Her international career lasted from 1957 to 1972. During these years she won gold six times at the UCI track world championships (1958 in Paris , 1959 in Rocourt , 1960 in Leipzig , 1961 in Zurich , 1965 in San Sebastian and 1972 in Marseille ) five times Silver (1963 in Rocourt, 1964 in Paris, 1969 in Brno , 1970 in Leicester and 1971 in Varese ). She also won bronze four times (1967 in Amsterdam , 1968 in Rome , 1973 in San Sebastian and 1975 in Rocourt).
