The Gaybach is a twenty-three kilometer long orographically left tributary of the Sauer in the southern Eifel in the Rhineland-Palatinate Eifel district of Bitburg-Prüm .

The Gaybach rises with several sources below the Arnskopf, the Bocksbarts ( 503  m above sea level ) and the Kahlenberg ( 537  m above sea level ) west of Neuerburg . The main source load arises at a height of about 488  m above sea level. NHN . The Gaybach flows mainly in a southerly direction, in the lower reaches also to the southeast, before it flows into the Sauer about three kilometers south of Wallendorf .
