Ludwig Gebhard Wilhelm Ferdinand von Knebel Doeberitz (* 7 July 1848 in Stettin , Pomerania , † 4. October 1921 at Gut Rosenhöh at Klebow , district Pomerania , Pomerania ) was landowner and Prussian politician .

Knebel married on August 4, 1881 at Gut Sorchow Elsbeth von Braunschweig (born October 13, 1861 at Gut Sorchow, † October 2, 1932 at Gut Rosenhöh), the daughter of the landowner Richard von Braunschweig , landlord on Sorchow, and Jenny von Bandemer .

He was a nephew of District Administrator Georg von Knebel Doeberitz (1810–1880) and cousin of his son, the Prussian major Ludwig von Knebel Doeberitz (1844–1900).

Life

Knebel studied at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . In 1870 he became a member of the Corps Saxo-Borussia Heidelberg . He was a royal Prussian cavalry master and a squire at Klebow and Rosenhöh. He was a knighthood councilor , member of the General Synodal Board of the Old Prussian regional church , legal knight of the Order of St. John and member of the Prussian manor house for life.
