The Geisa is an orographically left tributary of the Ulster in the southern Wartburg district in the Thuringian Rhön .
course
The north flowing Geisa rises in the area of the city Geisa , north of the district Reinhards on the northwest slope of the Rößberg and flows through the districts Spahl and Geismar , flows east past Wiesenfeld until it finally reaches the city Geisa and flows north of the city into the Ulster.
Tributaries
In its course the Geisa takes up the Mittelbach north of Spahl and the Geisbach north of Geismar; south of Wiesenfeld the stream of the same name (5.15 km, 5.6 km² catchment area) flows from the Hessian town of Setzelbach . In Geisa a mill ditch branches off from the Geisa.
