geography

course

It rises at about 510  m above sea level. NHN on the south-eastern edge of the hamlet of Kuglern and initially flows briefly to Obergeislbach in a north-easterly direction. From there it moves eastwards for most of its course, which meanders strongly in the middle. The Matzbach flows to the western edge of Niedergeislbach , the first of its two large left tributaries, which approaches in an approximately south-south-east running direction from the southern edge of the Lengdorf hamlet of Schrödings. A little north of the hamlet of Embach and west of the village of Esterndorf, the second, perhaps called Holzer Bach , flows out of the Lengdorf hamlet of Holz and runs southeast. In the same direction, the Geislbach then continues to flow between the two places Embach and Esterndorf, and then flows less than a further kilometer south of Esterndorf at about 452  m above sea level. NHN from the left into the Isen .
