Georg Friedrich Wilhelm Knauer
Georg Friedrich Wilhelm Knauer (* 11. November 1830 in Hannover , † 3 January 1905 ) was a German goldsmith , Hof - jeweler and entrepreneurs.
Life
family
Georg Friedrich Wilhelm Knauer was born in 1830 as the son of the goldsmith Georg Julius Friedrich Knauer . His grandfather HLZ Knauer also pursued this profession and was a. a. active at the University of Göttingen .
Career
Georg Friedrich Wilhelm Knauer took the citizenship oath in Hanover in 1855 and was awarded the championship title in the same year . Shortly before the annexation of the Kingdom of Hanover by Prussia , he was appointed court goldsmith and jeweler in 1863.
From 1878 on, Knauer can no longer be found in the Hanover address book , an "alleged takeover of the business" by Wilhelm Lameyer has not yet been proven.
