Georg Rösler (born May 19, 1921 in Penzig , Silesia , † March 5, 2001 ) was a German politician ( CDU ). From 1975 to 1987 he was a member of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament .

Life and work

Georg Rösler first completed secondary school , then attended a commercial school and completed an agricultural apprenticeship. After graduating from the agricultural college , he was a state-certified farmer . He also studied pedagogy in Stuttgart . Rösler later worked as a senior teacher in school. He was married and had three children.

politics

Rösler joined the CDU in 1955. In the CDU district association Steinburg he was district chairman from 1971 to 1980. He was temporarily a member of the council in Kellinghusen . From 1959 he was a member of the district parliament in the Steinburg district , from 1970 to 1981 as chairman of the CDU district parliamentary group . In 1982 he was elected district president.

In the state elections in Schleswig-Holstein in 1975 , 1979 and 1983 , Rösler was elected as a direct candidate for the CDU in the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament in constituency 16 (Steinburg-Ost) . He was a member of parliament from May 26, 1975 to October 2, 1987. In the state parliament, he held the office of secretary from 1975 to 1979 and worked, among other things, on the Social Committee, which he chaired from 1983 to 1987.

Honors

Rösler was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on Ribbon in 1980 and the Federal Cross of Merit 1st Class in 1987, and he was also awarded the Freiherr-vom-Stein Medal of Schleswig-Holstein.
