Georg "Nucki" Wegner (* February 23, 1943 ; † January 15, 2017 ) was a German lawyer , notary and handball player .

Career

Georg Wegner grew up in the Winterbek district of Kiel and had been a member of the THW Kiel since 1955 . From 1961 the circle runner played in the first team of the zebras , with which the German handball championship in 1962 and the German handball championship in 1963 won. In 1971 he ended his playing career because of his law degree . In 1972 he was supported by the University of Kiel to Dr. iur. PhD . From 1973 he worked as a lawyer. In addition, he helped set up the tennis department at THW and played a decisive role in the outsourcing of the handball Bundesliga team from the entire club to THW Kiel Handball-Bundesliga GmbH & Co. KG , which he has been a co-partner since then was.
