Olga Pawlowna Jakuschowa ( Russian Ольга Павловна Якушова ), née Galitsch (Галич) (born December 29, 1991 in Borodino , Krasnoyarsk region ) is a former Russian biathlete .

Olga Jakuschowa lives in Krasnoyarsk . She started biathlon in 2002 and was trained by Anatoli Romasko. She is one of the most successful juniors in her sport of her generation. In 16 races at the Biathlon Junior World Championships , she always reached the ranks of the top 12, and she finished 13 races in the top ten. At the 2009 Biathlon Junior World Championships in Canmore , she won the sprint and relay titles, and in Torsby in 2010 in singles. In addition, she was second in the season. In 2011 she won her second season title in Nové Město na Moravě and was also second in the individual race. Also in 2012 she was able to win silver in the pursuit race in Kontiolahti . Jakuschowa was also able to achieve great successes in the junior races of the European Biathlon Championships . In 2011 she won the titles in the individual and relay races, she also won the bronze medal in the sprint and the silver medal in the pursuit race, and in 2012 in Osrblie she became vice European champion in individual and relay races. Also at the junior races of the Summer Biathlon World Championships Jakuschowa won gold in sprint and relay races as well as the bronze medal in the pursuit race in Nové Město na Moravě in 2011 .

Yakuschowa contested her first women's race - as part of the IBU Cup - in 2014 in Beitostølen , where she immediately won points as the 35th of a sprint. Shortly thereafter, she started at the Biathlon World Cup of Östersund and qualified as the 53rd of prints for the pursuit race where she won World Cup points as the 38th first time.

Jakuschowa is married to the biathlete Nikolai Jakuschow .

At the end of the 2017/18 season, she ended her career as a professional athlete.
