In the summer of 2004, Florescu left "U Cluj" and switched to the Moldovan top club Sheriff Tiraspol . There he was able to win the Moldovan championship in 2005 and 2006 , although he was rarely able to prove his goal-scoring ability. In autumn 2006 he left Sheriff and moved to Torpedo Moscow . With his new club he was relegated shortly afterwards from the Premjer League . In the 1st division , the club failed to return to the House of Lords, but Florescu returned to old strength.

In the spring of 2010 he returned to Russia and has since played for Alania Wladikawkas in the Premjer League. After the end of the season he was without engagement for six months before the Ukrainian first division side Arsenal Kiev signed him in the summer of 2011. At the beginning of 2013 he returned to Romania and joined Astra Giurgiu . In the summer of 2013 he moved to Russia again, where Dynamo Moscow signed him . There he was only used three times in the 2013/14 season and mostly sat on the bench. In summer 2014 he returned to Astra Giurgiu. In the summer of 2015 he moved to FK Qəbələ in Azerbaijan. Florescu was only used there once and moved to Omonia Nicosia in Cyprus at the beginning of 2016 .
