Gert Niemitz (* 1911 ; † June 18, 1967 in Hamburg ) was a German actor and voice actor .

Life

Gert Niemitz began his theater career before the Second World War when he belonged to the ensemble of the Municipal Theaters of Nuremberg for several seasons . During the war he was committed to the venues in Magdeburg and Kiel . In the last season before the end of the war (1943/44), Niemitz was also the director of the last-mentioned stage. At this point in time he was serving as part of the Kriegsmarine Wehrbetreuung Ostsee, a soldier's platform subordinated to the Naval Command of the Baltic Sea. In 1945, Niemitz resumed civil acting at Hamburg's Deutsche Schauspielhaus . He stayed there for five years.

Niemitz had been a member of the Hamburg Thalia Theater ensemble since 1950 .
