Culture and sights
- The Gifteen townscape is characterized by many old farmhouses.
- It is not known since when there was a chapel in Giften. A document from 1791 describes the chapel as "old". Today's brick church tower replaced a wooden tower in 1894. An organ was donated in 1905. In the 1960s, the interior of the chapel in the area of the altar was redesigned. Since 2003 the previously unnamed church has borne the name of Martin Luther .
- The local recreation area Gifteen Lakes offers recreational opportunities for surfing, sailing boat trips and swimming on the lake.
