Gilles Jaquet (born June 16, 1974 in La Chaux-de-Fonds ) is a Swiss snowboarder .

He has been competing in the Snowboard World Cup since 1995 and has so far achieved 15 World Cup victories (FIS Tour and ISF Tour). At the FIS Snowboard World Championships in 2001 he won the gold medal in the parallel slalom. In the 2001/02 season he was world champion of the ISF tour. He has already taken part in the Winter Olympics three times and achieved 8th place in 2006 in Turin as the best place .

Gilles Jaquet has a university degree in math and exercise. He lives in La Chaux-de-Fonds.

On October 25, 2015, he suffered serious injuries in a traffic accident in front of the Hotel de l'Etoile in Charmey when a car driver drove unchecked into the Jaquets family in the car park because of an epileptic seizure . His mother's 71-year-old partner was killed, the 43-year-old brother in a wheelchair was seriously injured and a 10-year-old niece was injured moderately.
