Dmitri Alexejewitsch Loginow ( Russian Дмитрий Алексеевич Логинов ; born February 2, 2000 in Krasnoyarsk ) is a Russian snowboarder . He starts in the parallel disciplines.

Career

Loginow started in Landgraaf in October 2015 for the first time in the European Cup and finished 39th and 33rd in the parallel slalom. In January 2016, he achieved his first podium finish with second place in the parallel slalom in Stara Planina and at the end of the season he achieved 14th place in the parallel ranking of the European Cup. At the Snowboard Junior World Championships 2016 in Rogla , he won the gold medal in the parallel slalom. At the beginning of the 2016/17 season he made his debut in the Snowboard World Cup in Carezza and came 49th in the parallel giant slalom. In February 2017 he won the gold medal in the parallel giant slalom at the European Youth Olympic Winter Festival in Erzurum and the silver medal in the parallel slalom and in the parallel giant slalom at the 2017 Snowboard Junior World Championships in Klinovec . At the Snowboard World Championships 2017 in Sierra Nevada , he finished 39th in the parallel slalom and ninth in the parallel giant slalom. In the 2017/18 season he achieved his first podium finish in the World Cup with third place in the parallel slalom in Cortina d'Ampezzo and his first World Cup victory in the parallel slalom in Bad Gastein . At the season's highlight, the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang , he finished 32nd in the parallel giant slalom. He finished the season in second place in the Parallel Slalom World Cup. In September 2018 he won the gold medal in both the parallel slalom and the parallel giant slalom at the Junior World Championships in Cardrona .

In the 2018/19 season Loginow achieved seven top ten placements, including two second places, seventh place in the parallel giant slalom world cup, fifth place in parallel slalom and fourth place in the parallel world cup. At the Snowboard World Championships 2019 in Park City , he became world champion in parallel slalom and parallel giant slalom. At the beginning of April 2019 he won the gold medal in the parallel giant slalom at the Junior World Championships in Rogla . The following season he was second in the parallel giant slalom in Pyeongchang and won his second World Cup victory in the parallel giant slalom in Blue Mountain . He achieved seventh place in the parallel slalom world cup and third place in the parallel world cup and parallel giant slalom world cup.
