action
Fascinated by death, the sisters Brigitte and Ginger Fitzgerald, who despite their relatively advanced age (15 and 16) show hardly any signs of puberty , enjoy their roles as outsiders. But their loyalty alliance ("Out by 16 or dead in this scene, but together forever", in German "Exit at 16 or death in this scene, but together forever") is shaken when Ginger is attacked by a werewolf and at the same time is getting her first menstruation . In the course of the subsequent transformation, she mutates into a sex- and blood-addicted monster and soon has nothing but contempt for her sister.
With the help of the drug dealer Sam, who finds an extract from the monkshood plant as a possible antidote, Brigitte tries unsuccessfully to free Ginger from her curse. Brigitte infects herself with the lycanthropy virus and still tries to calm down Ginger, who has already killed a classmate, the school principal, the caretaker and finally Sam. In doing so, she accidentally fatally injures Ginger and has to watch her sister die in the form of the werewolf.
