Giovanni Gravelli
Giovanni Gravelli (born March 12, 1922 in Città Sant'Angelo , Pescara Province , Italy , † December 11, 1981 ) was a Roman Catholic Archbishop and diplomat of the Holy See .
Life
Giovanni Gravelli received on 29 October 1944, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On December 24, 1967, Pope Paul VI appointed him . the Titular Archbishop of Suas and ordered him to Apostolic Nuncio in Bolivia . The Cardinal Secretary of State Amleto Giovanni Cardinal Cicognani , donated him the episcopal ordination on January 21, 1968 ; Co- consecrators were the substitute in the Vatican State Secretariat , Curia Archbishop Giovanni Benelli , and the Bishop of Penne and Pescara , Antonio Iannucci .
On July 12, 1973 Giuseppe Laigueglia became Apostolic Nuncio in the Dominican Republic .
