Giuseppe Laigueglia
Giuseppe Laigueglia (born September 7, 1922 in Badalucco , Imperia Province , Italy , † June 6, 2001 ) was a Roman Catholic Archbishop and Vatican diplomat .
Life
Giuseppe Laigueglia received on 16 June 1946, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On August 3, 1973, Pope Paul VI appointed him . the Titular Archbishop of Aeliae and ordered him to Apostolic Nuncio in Bolivia . The Prefect of the Congregation for the Order of the Sacraments , Antonio Cardinal Samorè , ordained him episcopal on September 22nd of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the secretary of the Council for Public Affairs of the Church, Archbishop Curia Agostino Casaroli , and the Bishop of Ventimiglia , Angelo Raimondo Verardo OP .
On January 20, 1979 Giuseppe Laigueglia became Apostolic Pro-Nuncio in Cuba .
