Giro del Friuli
The Giro del Friuli (also Giro del Friuli Venezia Giulia , Eng. Friuli Tour ) was an Italian road bike race that was held annually in Friuli .
The one-day race was first held in 1974. The first winner was the Italian Luciano Borgognoni . The record winner is the Italian Guido Bontempi with three wins. Bontempi was also the only driver to win the race for two consecutive years. The last edition of the race took place in 2011.
The race was last in category 1.1 on the UCI Europe Tour . The 1991 and 2000 events also served as the Italian road championships .
