The Glarus Alps in the broader sense (Section 13) within the Western Alps .

The Glarus Alps in the broader sense are a mountain group in the Western Alps . In the SOIUSA mountain classification they are listed as section 13. They consist of the Glarus Alps in the narrower sense and the Urner-Glarus Alps .

The mountain range extends over the Swiss cantons of Glarus , Uri , Graubünden and St. Gallen . The highest mountain is the Tödi at 3620  m above sea level. M.
