The Glassmecke is a 6.2 km long and orographically right tributary of the Ruhr in the urban area of Meschede in the Hochsauerlandkreis , North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).

Glass taste at Meschede-Enste

The brook running in the Hochsauerland rises at a height of 540  m above sea level. NHN in the Erlenbruch nature reserve on the upper Glasmeckesiepen on Landstrasse 856 around 200 m north of the Meschede telecommunications tower .

It flows through the town of Enste and flows into the nature reserve Ruhrtal near Laer near Laer Castle at an altitude of 368  m above sea level. NHN from the right into the adjacent Ruhr.
