Enste

Enste is a district of Meschede . The place is north of the A 46 at the exit of the same name. The Glassmecke flows through the village and flows west of Laer Castle into the adjacent Ruhr .

history

In 2014, ceramic shards and the remains of post pits from an Iron Age settlement were found in the town's industrial park. The place belonged to the Meschede district . As part of the municipal reorganization , Enste became a district of the new city of Meschede on January 1, 1975. The old weir storage facility was added to the list of monuments of the city of Meschede in 1989 .
