Einhaus is a district of the city of Meschede in the Hochsauerlandkreis .

geography

The small town is about three kilometers south of Remblinghausen . Neighboring places are Mönekind and Köttinghausen .

history

Einhaus belonged to the Remblinghausen parish and the Meschede court. The Eymhuißen residence was already mentioned in the 16th century treasury registers for the Duchy of Westphalia. The appraisal register of 1536 contains a person liable for the appraisal, at the latest from 1563 the place consisted of two courtyards, in which in 1819 14 residents lived. Since the reorganization by the Sauerland / Paderborn law on January 1, 1975, Einhaus has belonged to the Hochsauerlandkreis and is a district of the city of Meschede.
