Glenn Cook (* 1963 ) is a former British triathlete and two-time European triathlon champion in the middle distance (1987, 1992).

Career

Glenn Cook was active as a swimmer in his youth and came to triathlon at the age of 21.

He is a three-time British triathlon champion (1986, 1989 and 1990).
In 1987 he became European triathlon champion over the middle distance in Roth.

At the first edition of a world championship on the short distance triathlon (Olympic distance: 1.5 km swimming, 40 km cycling and 10 km running) he was runner-up in Avignon in August 1989.

In May 1992 he was again European triathlon champion over the middle distance in Finland and was able to repeat his success from 1987. A month later in June he finished third with the British men's team at the Duathlon World Championships in Frankfurt am Main.

In 2012 he was in charge of the British women's national team for the British Triathlon Federation at the Summer Olympics in London .
